Support

Contact support

Email: obrienser@gmail.com

Email is the preferred contact method for technical support. When reporting a problem, please include the app name, device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, a short description of what happened, steps that reproduce the problem, and the text of any error message.

Protect your family’s information. Do not send a child’s name, a voice recording, an Apple Account password, payment-card details, or anything else that is not needed to investigate the problem.

Restore purchases

Use Restore Purchases in the app’s gated parent area if a subscription or a story unlocked through a one-time purchase is not shown as available. Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase or to an Apple Account eligible to access it through the purchaser’s Family Sharing group.

An individual story purchased as a non-consumable purchase remains unlocked after a subscription ends. Eligible purchases may also be available through Apple Family Sharing when it is enabled and correctly configured.

Manage or cancel a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, and then tap Subscriptions. Select Bedtime stories app to view the current plan or cancel renewal.

Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. A seven-day free trial converts to the selected paid subscription unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

Refunds and billing

Apple processes all App Store payments and refund requests. To request a refund or report an App Store billing issue, visit Apple’s Report a Problem service.

Apple does not provide the developer with the user’s payment-card number.

Child’s name and iCloud

The child’s name is optional. When entered by a parent or guardian, it is stored on the device and synchronized automatically through the user’s iCloud account when iCloud is available.

A parent or guardian can clear the child’s name in the gated parent area. This removes it locally and requests removal from the app’s iCloud synchronization data.

Parent narration recordings

Narration recording is intended only for a parent or guardian. Accepted recordings are stored for private playback and synchronized automatically through the user’s private iCloud account when iCloud is available.

The gated parent area lets a parent or guardian:

  • delete one recorded line;
  • delete all recordings for one story; or
  • delete all recordings.

Recordings are retained until they are deleted or replaced, subject to device storage, iCloud availability, and successful synchronization. Use the app’s deletion controls while connected to iCloud before deleting the app.

If synchronization does not work, confirm that the device is connected to the internet, signed in to the intended Apple Account, and permitted to use iCloud.

Privacy requests

Instructions for reviewing, correcting, or deleting information are available on the Privacy Choices page. Privacy questions may be sent to obrienser@gmail.com.

A parent or guardian should submit requests concerning a child. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify the requester’s identity and authority, but we will never ask for an Apple Account password or complete payment-card number.
